Helipads, water slides and movie theaters have become a commonplace addition to the yachts of the super-rich. This stylish Italian yacht is equipped with something that no one else in the world has yet – a floating drive-in garage.
J’ade, designed by Italian company CRN, was the center of attention at the Monaco Yacht Show 2014. The 60-meter luxury yacht can accommodate 10 guests in four cabins and a suite, as well as 13 crew members. Each cabin has large windows with views of the sea.
The hydraulic-operated hatch of the garage can store an eight-metre speedboat without the use of a tender lift to hoist it out of the water – the world’s first. The internal basin floods and empties 18,000 liters of water in just three minutes, allowing the boat to enter the yacht without the use of a crane.
In addition to the impressive garage, other amenities include a gym, a spa, an aquarium and a plunge pool.
