18. Amanda Bynes
Appearing in a commercial at the age of 7, Bynes shot to fame before she was even a teenager. From the late 1990s to the early 2000s, Bynes was a regular on Nickelodeon’s All That. She starred in The Amanda Show from 1999 to 2002, and promptly embarked on a four-year starring role in the WB sitcom, What I Like About You.
She starred in several box office fails between 2003 and 2010, before announcing her retirement from the world of acting in 2012.
Since then Bynes has been brought up on drug charges, several DUI’s, and even started a fire on a stranger’s front lawn, landing herself in a mental health treatment center. In late 2014, the actress was placed on another psychiatric hold after accusing her father of sexual abuse on Twitter.
