1. Her birthday is November 1, 1974, which means she is more than 40 years old in people years.

Of course, she is known to the English-speaking world as Hello Kitty, and referred to in Japan as Kitty-chan.

3. Hello Kitty is in fact British.

While she was created by Japanese company Sanrio, her backstory states she was born in the outskirts of London.
